In the Municipality of Bayombong, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) is lodged under the office of the Municipal Mayor. It has a designated LDRRMO, personnel responsible for the day to day operations of the office and an established 24/7 operations center.

The municipal Disaster Risk reduction Office (MDRRMO) with help of the Volunteers, the Program and activities of the office according to its requirement guided by the RA 10121 has created a huge impact in building a Disaster resilient community. The growth or progress have been changing and improving. The awareness and education to hazards and other risk to the community have been given to its proponent successfully. As the year end, the Office of the MDRRM has been given commendations by the netizens including the warnings and precaution given through posting on Facebook. Response and operation, given at a time table of 2-3 minute response have been strictly observed.

The LGU having established its Operations Center (OpCen) caters 24/7 rescue operations not only within the municipality but to outside municipalities as well has conducted actual emergency response. It is manned by well trained personnel and volunteers to handle medical as well as search and rescue services.

During the April 18, 2017 road tragedy of the Leomarick Bus that plunged into a ravine in Carangalan Town in Nueva Ecija killing more or less 35 passengers and injuring more or less 44 passengers (report from Francis Joseph Reyes, Information Officer, OCD-Cagayan Valley), the LGU medic and rescue team (Bayombong Rescue) is one of the early rescue groups that arrived and responded to accident victims.

Bayombong Rescue have responded to fire accidents, trauma cases, OB cases, medical cases, vehicular accidents, and responded as stand-by medic in activities/events in the municipality for the whole year
